We'll be jumping into member input, club goals, the propositions, and state and local races—including our own 43rd Assembly seat, now vacant after Paul Krekorian's win on the LA City Council.

First, Deputy LA City Attorney Chris Garcia will talk about ID theft in the digital age and how to prevent it. Then it's wine and hors d'ouvres-plus and 2010 election plans, while members renew dues and sign up their friends and other new members—with a special low rate on new year's dues.

Garcia is running for a superior judge seat this year, but he is with us to specifically talk about the problem that he has tackled since his prior three-year term as Special Assistant US Attorney in Major Frauds, before his current title and job focus in ID Theft and Fraud.
