June Dessert Meeting on Saturday, June 27 to feature
discussion and action on important issues
Our June meeting this year will be devoted to the election of officers for the coming year and a discussion of several important issues on which the club can take action. Items for discussion and action include national legislation on health care and State
legislation and constitutional change regarding public funding of election campaigns, changing the 2/3 vote required for the Legislature to adopt a budget or increase taxes, and term limits for members of the State Legislature.
Following the custom of last year, members will be served
dessert.

The DPSFV Executive Board meets monthly at 7:00 pm at the State Building Auditorium, 6150 Van Nuys Blvd. All Democrats are invited to come to our meetings however only board members can vote. 2010 meeting dates: Jan 4, Feb 1, Mar 1, Apr 5, May 3, Jun 7, Jun 28, Aug 2, Aug 30, Oct 4, Nov 1, Dec 6.
