WHEREAS, Rep. Adam Schiff (C-CA-29) has represented parts of the San Fernando Valley and adjacent areas since 2001 in Congress, and
WHEREAS, Rep. Schiff currently chairs the House Intelligence Committee, where he has been investigating potentially impeachable acts by Donald J. Trump and members of his administration, and in so doing has been attacked speciously by Trump loyalists, members of the Republican party, alt-right, anti-Semites, and neo-Nazis, and
WHEREAS, Rep. Schiff and his staff have remained actively engaged with their constituents despite the demands on his team as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee investigation;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley expresses deep gratitude and thanks Rep. Schiff for his continued service to the American people, our constitution, and our democracy;
AND THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to Rep. Schiff and his district staff.
